In April 2024, the $31.5 million hospital was officially opened — featuring an expanded 19-bed capacity, new emergency department, larger consultation rooms, rehabilitation gym, and its own staff accommodation
The Location
Located in a sugar industry town in Queensland. This rural town is approximately 36 kilometres south of Mackay. The area has retained much of its natural charm, while having developed into a thriving business area.
