The hospital serves the people of Kings and Annapolis Counties and provides specialty services as a referral centre for the Annapolis Valley and other areas of Western Nova Scotia.Located in Kentville, VRH is a 137 inpatient bed facility that provides inpatient, outpatient, and satellite care to approximately 80,000 residents. The facilitycompletes approximately 5,800 cases/year with 800 deliveries/year. There is a full surgical program with after-hours surgical coverage for emergency and non-elective procedures.
