Job Description

CPL Healthcare/ RIG Locums are searching for a Locum Consultant Microbiologist for a Trust in the East of England. 

Job details include:

  • The role involves mainly answering calls from the hospital clinicians and giving clinical advice to treat infection as well as infection control

  • The role will also deal with the daily blood culture cases as well as follow-up via the phone.

  • They will also authorize microbiology reports from specimen processed by the biomedical scientists.

  • The candidate will be expected to attend ITU ward round via teams to give clinical advice as well as attend the handover seasons at 3pm
