Job Description

Locum Phlebotomist (6 Months – Renewable)

Orchard Hospital (Fixed Site + Occasional Movement to Private Clinics / Wards)

$23–$26/hr (Depending on qualification)

Contract: Minimum 6 months (extendable up to 1 year)

Working Hours
  • Monday – Saturday
  • 8.00am – 1.00pm or 8.30am – 1.30pm
  • Occasional staggered start (as early as 7.30am)
  • May occasionally be scheduled for full-day shifts
Pay Rates
  • Certified Phlebotomists / Enrolled Nurses (EN): $23/hr
  • Registered Staff Nurses (SN): $26/hr
Job Scope
  • Perform venous blood collection (phlebotomy) at fixed hospital site
  • Travel within hospital to wards / private clinics for blood taking
  • Occasional assignment to external clinic/PEH sites (rare)
  • Ensure proper labelling, handling, and dispatch of specimens
  • Maintain patient safety, comfort, and infection control standards ...
