About the Role
The Dermatology department at Lewisham Hospital is seeking a part‑time SAS Doctor (8 PAs) for 7 months. The post holder will run a range of clinics based at University Hospital Lewisham (UHL): general adult, skin cancer, dermatology surgery and other subspecialty clinics determined by service needs and the post‑holder’s expertise.
In addition the role includes inpatient review of acute dermatology referrals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high quality Dermatology care in out‑patient clinics and perform high quality surgery within the appropriate level of care.
- Attend required MDT and CPD events.
- Perform regular ward rounds with clinical teams; there is no out of hours on‑call commitment, but the Dermatology team are closely involved in the care of in‑patients where needed.
- Provide high quality support to GP colleagues in hospital.
