Summary
The Logistics Assistant II will be responsible for assisting in the logistics process to meet all necessary requirements including government contracts related paperwork, expediting, and coordinating shipments based on customer’s needs. In this role, the Logistics Assistant II will closely collaborate with internal departments of Supply Chain and Operations.
Position Responsibilities:
+ Ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments and on-time-delivery to customers, prioritizing request to meet critical deadlines and program timelines.
+ Ensure that all hazmat shipments are properly identified, packaged and documented.
+ Process shipments in MRP and identify any clear any issues that may impact shipment confirmation.
