Position Summary
The Logistics Specialist will perform delivery of customers' product by applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations on roads. They will meet the delivery schedule by complying with safety and delivery requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties- Perform delivery of goods and ensure all deliveries are on schedule. Assist in loading and unloading of goods.
- Pick and pack goods for delivery to customer sites.
- Check all documentation related to the loads.
- Report and document discrepancies on orders received to the Immediate Superior.
- Carry out basic vehicle maintenance and checklist procedures.
- Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care.
- Conduct work carefully to reduce negative impact or risk to the environment and health & safety.
