Position Summary
The Logistics Specialist will perform the delivery of customers' product, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations on roads. He/ she will meet the delivery schedule by complying with safety and delivery requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties- Perform delivery of goods and ensure all deliveries are on schedule. Assist in loading and unloading of goods.
- Pick and pack goods for delivery to customer site.
- Verify all documentation related to the loads.
- Report and document discrepancies on orders received to the Immediate Superior.
- Carry out basic vehicle maintenance and checklist procedures.
- Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care.
- Conduct work carefully to reduce negative impact/risk to the environment and health & safety.
