Hire Resolve’s client in the Beverage Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Logistics Specialist to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape.
Responsibilities
- Focus on data and cost reduction within operations.
- Analyze local supply chain costs, supporting the local logistics team in implementing cost-saving initiatives
- Work on the inbound container network and improve Port Direct Container % for CPT, PE, and DBN by a minimum of 5% for these ports of entry based on the current base container volume
- Manage reports and reconcile all stock aging
- Cost analysis on material movements
- Reduction in DEM/DET cost for all shipments and imports
- Act as a stand-in for the Logistics Coordinator & Logistics Manager functions
- Supply Logistics and Demand Planning with IBT
- Evaluation of costs, rate cards, and rate increases in support of rate negotiations with 3PLs
