Job Description: The Logistics Supervisor oversees daily logistics and transportation operations, ensuring efficient planning, execution and continuous improvement of delivery and dispatch activities. This role is responsible for supervising dispatchers and drivers, managing performance, enforcing policies and resolving operational issues to meet service, cost and safety objectives.
Reports to Operations Manager.
Duties
- Supervise and manage dispatchers and drivers to ensure smooth daily operations
- Plan and optimize delivery routes, fleet utilization and manpower scheduling
- Monitor logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, cost efficiency, vehicle utilization and service levels
- Address escalations, delivery exceptions and customer service issues
