Luxury Groups and Events Manager (Waldorf Astoria)
A Groups and Events Manager is responsible for overseeing the Sales Coordinators and the Groups Coordinator working closely with the hotel to achieve pre‑established goals and maximize groups and events sales results.
Responsibilities- Supervise Sales Coordinators to deliver standard services and achieve financial targets.
- Visit customers with the Sales Manager to guarantee the success of large groups and events.
- Negotiate group and event contracts to maximize revenue.
- Coordinate function meetings, providing essential information on upcoming events.
- Lead the weekly communication meeting with coordinators.
- Promote hotel facilities and stay informed on competitors’ strengths and weaknesses.
- Organize hotel visits and respond to unexpected requests.
