Equans is looking for a Mechanical & Electrical Technician (Mechanical Bias) to join our team in University Hospital of Lewisham. This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Apply your mechanical expertise to maintain and repair hospital building services plant, including HVAC, AHUs, fan coil units, pumps, and medical support systems.
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and minor installation works with strict adherence to health technical memoranda (HTMs) and statutory regulations.
- Support basic electrical maintenance tasks such as emergency lighting, smoke ventilation systems, controls, and medical electrical interfaces.
- Participate in a 24-hour on-call rota providing emergency cover and respond promptly to critical clinical plant breakdowns.
