Machine Operators - 1st and 3rd Shift - 20/hr - Direct Placement
Responsibilities
- Set up extrusion machines according to the production schedule, which outlines the amount and specifics of parts needed.
- Perform die and roll changes as necessary.
- Conduct first and last article inspections and log data into Excel documents, using the metric system.
- Adjust machines if inspections reveal inaccuracies.
- Perform visual quality inspections, checking for color and shrinkage.
- Operate a forklift occasionally and lift up to 50 pounds, with team lifts and cranes available for heavier materials.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in machine operating and using hand and power tools.
- Minimum of 2 years average job tenure in manufacturing.
