Machines / fabricates prototype and replacement parts for equipment, machines and weapon systems of various types and alloys. Makes repairs to machinery, mechanical equipment and/or optical equipment. Interprets verbal and written instructions and specifications; planning and laying out of work, using a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
