Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This position is located in the Joint Forces Headquarters-State, Logistics Directorate (J-4), Surface Maintenance Facility. DEFINITION OF AREA(S) OF CONSIDERATION: Area 1 = On-board technicians currently assigned to the Louisiana National Guard. Responsibilities Duties & Responsibilities: (1) Fabricates complex and non-routine items that require numerous intricate steps, precise measurements, unusual and compound angles, or nonstandard applications of standard equipment. Performs machining work to manufacture castings, forgings, weldments, and other fabrications. May develop and manufacture specialized tools to manufacture new parts, work rare metals or special alloys, or achieve special finishes. (2) Plans and lays out work from blueprints, sketches, drawings, or specifications.
