We are seeking a skilled Machinist to set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and components. Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, and related equipment
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications to determine machining operations
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
- Align and secure fixtures, tooling, and materials
- Monitor machine performance and adjust feeds and speeds as required
