MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR

Temporary Full Time (40 hrs/week)

We are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to work within the Maintenance Department. The district is the third largest in B.C. with 32,000 students and about 4,300 staff. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Operations/Manager of Maintenance and is responsible for coordinating the technical work and performing drafting duties in the Facilities Department.

Qualifications

• Construction Technology Diploma from a recognized college/institution
• Knowledge of the methods, materials and specifications involved in renovation, repair and construction of buildings, facilities and grounds
• Blueprint reading and CAD/D systems
• Or other related post‑secondary certificate program followed by one‑year related experience
• Knowledge of cost accounting statistics
