Maintenance Fitter – 1 (Full‑time, Chipping Sodbury)
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair static plant equipment in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner.
- Carry out planned maintenance, inspections, and servicing in line with manufacturer and Heidelberg Materials standards.
- Ensure plant is kept in good physical order, including greasing, cleaning, and general upkeep.
- Complete daily inspection sheets and maintenance documentation accurately.
- Identify, report, and escalate defects or issues to the line manager, supervisor, or chargehand.
- Operate plant and machinery safely and in an energy efficient manner.
- Complete near–miss and safety reports as required by site management.
- Support safe start‑up and shutdown of plant equipment.
- Demonstrate good timekeeping and reliability.
Qualifications & Experience (Essential)
- Computer literate.
