POSITION DEFINITION: Authority/Responsibility – Seasonally maintain, diagnose and repair all aspects of Community Unit School District 200 building HVAC mechanical systems at designated locations as requested or required to maintain operating excellence for these sites.
Category: E1FS - Starting Pay Rate 25-26 sy: $32.89
Representative Activities
- Make basic calibrations of valves and controls for all HVAC equipment as well as the ability to operate building automation systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all mechanical equipment. Ability to learn new methods and systems.
- Assist remodeling projects that include basic carpentry, masonry, plumbing, painting, installing vinyl cove base and electrical projects under the management of the Facility Services Management Team.
