About our Home:
Hungerford Care Home is a warm and welcoming nursing home offering a spacious and comfortable environment and 24-hour care and support for older adults.
Responsibilities:
+ Maintaining the building and equipment
+ Carry out routine checks weekly, monthly, and annually on systems in the home and ensuring that external checks are carried out within the agreed timeframe – e.g Loler testing
+ Monitor and respond to the fire alarm call, boilers and lift.
+ Make effective and efficient use of resources in any maintenance or repair.
+ To conduct Banking and purchase of small items for the home.
+ Maintain the building, grounds and equipment to ensure the safety of residents, staff and visitors to the House including decoration and repair, minor plumbing works and maintaining the garden areas.
