Overview
Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group are currently searching for a Maintenance Person on a full time basis 40 hours per week based at our exceptional nursing home Kirk Lane in Livingston Village, West Lothian. Working hours are Monday to Friday 0800 - 1630 (no weekend working). Kirk Lane is an exceptional and award winning nursing home awarded Care Home of the Year - Scotland 2025 at a National awards ceremony and additionally attains four grades of 6 - Excellent with the Care Inspectorate.
This position offers an opportunity to ensure that the home continues to be in good repair both internally and externally, maintaining a safe and trouble‑free environment for residents, relatives and staff.
Responsibilities
- Report major maintenance problems to the manager and await instructions.
- Liaise with Facilities Manager for advice.
- Communicate hazards/information to all staff, using “communications book” and notices.
