Duties Description The Maintenance Supervisor will function as a working supervisor of journey level and trades staff engaged in maintenance, repair, rehabilitation, and construction activities and Performs the activities and tasks of specialized trades. Specific duties include but are not limited to:
• Identifies and makes needed or necessary repairs in a timely manner for the facility.
• Functions as a working supervisor of journey level and trades staff engaged in maintenance, repair, rehabilitation, and construction activities.
• Supervises and plans the work for subordinate staff.
• Creates and submits Purchase Orders and Purchase Requests for maintenance and service-related supplies, equipment and contracts and identifies and submits the required number of bids.
• Reviews job orders, blueprints, and specifications and, as required, visits the project site to determine dimensions, materials, and labor required to complete the project.
