Job Description
An opportunity has arisen within the Casting Maintenance department for a Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate would be multiskilled (Mechanical and Electrical) or a single trade Mechanical Maintenance Technician. This is a permanent, full-time shift position. Shift Patterns available are Monday to Friday 6-2 & 2-10 or a 7-day continental pattern.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Minimising production downtime by fault finding and resolving equipment breakdowns whilst preventing reoccurrences.
- Performing preventative & planned maintenance work on Industrial equipment and building infrastructure.
- Using mechanical and electrical drawings and documentation to undertake fault finding and modifications to industrial machines and equipment.
- Contributing to improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and eliminating recurring faults.
