The Maintenance Technician performs efficient and effective maintenance activities that support the safe production of high-quality products, minimize costs, and protect the environment. This role focuses on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of industrial equipment, while working closely with cross-functional teams to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
**Responsibilities**
+ Rebuild large gearboxes, including disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly to ensure reliable operation.
+ Align pumps and other rotating equipment to manufacturer specifications to reduce vibration and extend equipment life.
+ Perform mechanical rebuilds on various rotary equipment used throughout the plant.
+ Carry out welding tasks as needed for maintenance and repair work, excluding code-certified welding.
