Job Overview
A Makro Driver operates delivery vehicles and distribution fleet equipment to transport bulk groceries, general merchandise, and wholesale goods from Makro's warehouse stores to business and individual customers across local and regional routes in South Africa. As part of the Massmart Group, a subsidiary of Walmart, Makro offers reliable and structured driving careers across its large‑format warehouse stores and delivery operations in all nine provinces.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles and distribution fleet equipment to transport goods.
- Deliver bulk groceries, general merchandise, and wholesale goods to business and individual customers.
- Transport goods from Makro warehouse stores to customers across local and regional routes.
- Load and unload bulk and heavy goods safely during loading and offloading.
- Complete delivery manifests, customer sign‑offs, and trip documentation accurately.
