Job Summary:
Oneida Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide care for patients in our Radiology Department. Under the general direction of the Radiologist and Chief Mammography Technologist, this position will perform Digital Mammograms of the breast at a technical level to produce high-quality mammographic images. Additionally, the technologist may perform breast localization procedures as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete patient education regarding examination and procedures.
- Promote privacy and comfort for patients during their hospital visit.
- Perform diagnostic and/or screening mammograms as ordered by the Radiologist.
