Job Description


This is a permanent full-time position commencing August 2026

The Financial Planning and Resourcing Directorate of the Department of Education is responsible for internal and external budget related functions, including:

  • overall budget and resource management,

  • cost and demand modelling,

  • providing strategic financial advice,

  • school resourcing, and

  • financial management reporting.

    • As a member of the Financial Planning and Resourcing leadership team, you will lead the directorate and work in collaboration with key external and internal stakeholders to share a common commitment to meeting the needs of all students across the state.
