**GENERAL OVERVIEW:**
This job is responsible for leading, managing, and coordinating Life Safety and Environment of Care as it applies to Facility’s Emergency Preparedness. Leads the safety and emergency management functions and serves as the officer for these respective areas.
**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority 20%.
+ Directs and ensures compliance with all authorities having jurisdiction (Safety, Fire and Life Safety regulations 20%
