About the role
Help lead the financial health and strategic decision‑making of one of NewZealand’s most trusted public sector organisations. At the Electoral Commission, you will play a key leadership role in strengthening financial performance and ensuring the organisation has accurate, timely, and meaningful financial information to support planning and decision‑making.
Responsibilities
- Drive financial planning, performance management and business‑partnering advice across the organisation.
- Prepare and model financial information for use in submitting funding bids and business cases to the Treasury.
- Translate strategy into financial plans and provide trusted advice to the Executive Leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Lead a team of finance professionals who work closely with senior leaders to support evidence‑based decision making, organisational performance and long‑term sustainability.
