Job Description

Position

Experienced Manager, Operations – SãoPaulo, reporting to the Head of Operations, Americas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review voyage and time charter contract requirements.
  • Plan voyages to maximize revenue and minimize costs.
  • Manage voyage and time charter post‑fixture matters.
  • Provide detailed voyage instructions to Masters.
  • Appoint and instruct agents, surveyors, stevedores, and weather routing companies.
  • Handle voyage and time charter disputes.
  • Ensure daily accuracy of Veson VIP schedules (including Sub Time Charter voyages).
  • Implement and execute all company and department policies and procedures.
  • Prepare freight billings, hire payments, vetting of DA’s and miscellaneous vendor invoices.
  • Conduct post‑voyage analysis (financial and statistical).
