(What the role is) The Data Innovation and Protection Group is at the frontier of advancing Singapore's artificial intelligence (AI) and data innovation aspirations through the responsible use of data and AI. As Architects of Singapore's Digital Future, our ambition is to establish Singapore as a trusted data hub by laying the strong foundation for organisations to harness the power of AI and data. We achieve this by putting in place strong data governance, empowering a community of data advocates and anchoring Singapore as a global leader in the development and use of trustworthy AI and data tech. Within our Group, the Ecosystem Development & Engagement Division creates the conditions for our success. We manage partnerships, run programmes, drive advocacy and outreach efforts, and develop products and solutions for public use so as to build awareness, shape behaviour, and create capacity for effective data protection and innovation.
