Job Title: Manager - US Direct Tax

Location: New Delhi

Department: Finance

Reports To: Senior Director, Tax (US)

Position Summary:

The Tax Manager – US Direct Tax will manage Chegg’s federal and multi-state income tax operations including tax provision, compliance, controversy, credits & incentives, and planning. This is a high-impact role that collaborates with cross-functional teams and supports both recurring tax operations and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primarily review quarterly consolidated tax provision reporting and analysis
  • Review quarterly consolidated domestic tax provision memos and supporting documentation.
  • Review quarterly tax flux analysis, forecasts, and non-GAAP tax adjustments
  • Review workpapers and payment requests for estimated and extension payments (federal, state income, franchise, CAT...
