The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a skilled Manual Machinist to join a busy and well-established machine shop. You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality components to precise specifications, ensuring all work meets strict quality and safety standards.
Working Hours for the Manual Machinist
* 40 hours per week
* Rotating weekly shifts (Days & Nights)
Days: Monday – Friday, 06:00 – 14:30
Nights: Monday – Thursday, 18:00 – 04:00 (finish Friday morning)
* 33% shift allowance applied on night shifts

* Machine components from engineering drawings to exact specifications
* Operate manual lathes and associated equipment
* Ensure all work meets required quality standards
* Interpret technical drawings accurately
