Job Description
Primary responsibilities:
Identify & execute solutions related to process flow within the plant by applying manufacturing engineering principles to improve efficiencies (Pareto, time studies, design experiments, Problem solving tools, Labor Balancing. Responsible for performing new and current program feasibility study to determine optimal process and creates machine specification and source secure equipment(s) and safe solution working with cross functional team internal and/or external. Responsible for performing capacity, capability & feasibility studies to determine viability of new capital equipment purchases & assist with new product development Take an Active role in APQP, helping to develop process flow by applying Lean Manufacturing Principles, PFMEA’s, equipment and tooling specifications Responsible for implementation of Corrective Actions & mistake proofing (poke yoke) Assist and implement Engineering Changes and Process Changes with cross functional team.
