Job Description
**Purpose of Position**
The New Product Introduction Engineer is responsible for the effective implementation of new product designs into manufacturing. The NPI Engineer is the lead engineering liaison between product development and operations. They provide engineering DFX expertise for Operations, new product training, and develop the new manufacturing processes for product introductions.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Lead Operations representation and contact on new product develop project teams.
• Works with product development teams to improve product designs through Alpha, Beta, and Pilot prototype/production builds.
• Lead Operations interface with other NPI support functions such as Quality, Supply Chain, Reliability, Supplier Quality, and Service.
• Engage key operations team members at appropriate time to develop material replenishment plan (Planners), manpower plan (Area Administrators), training and production launch (Manufacturing E...
