Manufacturing / Production Operative (Magnesium) - Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
Luxfer MEL Technologies is a global leader in the development, manufacture and supply of Magnesium and Zirconium based products and services to technology industries worldwide. We have approximately 300 employees across the UK & US.
The Role – Manufacturing / Production Operative (Billet Prep)
- Using manual lathes, bandsaws
- Target focused, must hit output quota
- Operating process equipment and machinery, including semi and fully automated machinery
- Monitoring processes and recording parameters for production records, log sheets and SAP transactions
- Communicating current status to other operators and departments
- Performing in-house tests/analysis to ensure product is produced in line with specifications
