Job Description
Marine Biologist 2 is a role supporting environmental field programs throughout Canada, involving field planning, surveys, and reporting within our Resources, Water, and Transportation market sectors. The successful candidate will work on multidisciplinary projects addressing current and future challenges and collaborate closely with project team members and subject matter experts.
Primary Responsibilities
As a Marine Biologist 2, the successful candidate will: (1) design and plan marine surveys using various methods; (2) lead field programs, directing personnel, training and coordinating Indigenous observers; (3) prepare technical reports for clients and regulators; and (4) perform other project-related duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Professional Biologist (RPBio) designation or eligibility for registration.
