Job Description
Global provider of marine communication and navigation electronics for ships and offshore vessels. The company sells, installs, services, and repairs equipment such as radar systems, satellite communications, radios, GPS, and navigation systems used on commercial, government, and private vessels.
Position Summary
Installs, maintains, and repairs electronic systems aboard commercial vessels, fishing boats, and yachts. Working with limited supervision, technicians troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues involving navigation, communication, and control systems.
Technicians apply knowledge of electronic theory, circuitry, and diagnostic procedures to test and repair onboard equipment. Responsibilities also include configuring and updating system software, interpreting technical documentation, and preparing detailed service reports following completion of service work.
