Position Overview
The Martensville Childcare Centre Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of a YMCA licensed childcare centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, developmentally appropriate programs in accordance with YMCA values, Ministry of Education regulations, and the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum.
Reporting to the Childcare Director, the Martensville Childcare Centre Manager provides leadership to staff, ensures compliance with licensing standards, and fosters an inclusive, nurturing environment that supports each child’s growth and development. This position requires scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs, including occasional early morning, evening, or weekend work.
The Martensville Childcare Centre Manager plays a key role in ensuring that all safety, quality, and reporting requirements are met, while fostering strong relationships with families, staff, and community partners.
