Job Description
Responsibilities
- Construct, repair, and maintain buildings, walls, chimneys, and other structures using stone, brick, and other materials.
- Mix mortar, grout, and other materials to create strong bonds for construction projects.
- Lay bricks, stones, and blocks to build foundations, walls, and other structural elements.
- Use trowels, levels, hammers, and other tools to measure, cut, and shape materials.
- Ensure the alignment, level, and accuracy of masonry work.
- Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications to complete projects.
- Apply finishing touches, such as smoothing and cleaning surfaces.
- Collaborate with other construction workers and contractors to complete projects on time.
