Job Description of a Mason/Carpenter:
- Follows orders and instructions from the Foreman or Engineer-in-Charge.
- Knows how to mix cement and mortar for both concrete and masonry works.
- Familiar with the components of a building structure, such as beams, columns, footings, etc.
- Knows how to cut and lay stone or Concrete Hollow Blocks.
- Plasters concrete or masonry surfaces according to the finish specified in the plan.
- Responsible for cutting, fabrication, assembling, installation and removal of forms from concrete structure.
- Knows how to use hand tools/power tools and equipment.
- Can cut and install tiles of any size and kind.
- Capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision.
Job Qualifications:
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in masonry or a similar job role.
- Must have work experience in the construction field.
