Master Trainer for Training of Trainers (ToT) on Water Storage and Good Hygiene Practices
Communities in the project districts are facing significant public health challenges due to limited access to safe drinking water, polluted surface water, brackish groundwater sources, and prolonged periods of extreme heat reaching 48–50°C. These conditions increase the risk of waterborne diseases, particularly diarrhea and other hygiene‑related illnesses. In addition, water scarcity often leads to a decline in key hygiene behaviors such as handwashing with soap and safe water handling practices.
To address these challenges, the project aims to strengthen community resilience through the promotion of improved Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) practices. A Training of Trainers (ToT) approach will be adopted to establish a pool of approximately 100 Master Trainers (MTs) ensuring equal participation of women and men.
