Job Description
Assist in small local procurement:
· Prepare material request form, coordinate with Procurement for PO and payment.
· Pick up materials at suppliers.
· Keep tracking file of all site procurement.
· Liaise with local suppliers.
· Check and replenish safety stock of consumables.
· Record all back-charge to Subcontractor (running bill file).
Monitor material movement:
· Track and record all logistics movement (in/out, storage location, handover to subcontractors) in Excel or software.
· Implement measures to prevent materials damage or theft.
· Help for material inspection (crate opening, closing, handling of materials, etc).
· Assist in material delivery inspections.
· Provide updates for weekly reports (% of material delivered, storage areas allocation, etc).
· Prepare site storage layout and traffic management plan.
· Ensure timely availability of materials for smooth construction operation. No construction delay due to material s...
