Job Description
**Material Handler**
**Location:** Taneytown, MD 21787
**Shift:** 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Up to 10 hrs weekly OT)
**Pay:** $20.00 – $21.50/hr
**Type:** W2 under staffing for 3-months Temp-to-Perm (according to performance)
**Role Summary**
Handles shipping/receiving, loads/unloads trucks, stocks parts, and operates a forklift to safely move materials throughout the facility.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Load, unload, unpack, and verify incoming/outgoing shipments.
+ Log received materials into the ERP system within 24 hours.
+ Resolve packing list discrepancies and document damaged goods.
+ Safely package outbound items and maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
**Requirements**
+ **Physical:** Stand/walk for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs regularly (100+ lbs with a buddy).
+ **Skills:** Basic MS Office skills, strong communication, and multitasking abilities.
