Job purpose
The Material Handler operates machinery to move third party material, store, press and mold into bales, sort and reload material per customer orders.
Duties and responsibilities
+ Control and operate equipment, forklift, skid steers, banding equipment, overhead cranes, balers, and front-end loaders, etc.
+ Operate scales and document material appropriately.
+ Follow all safety protocols to include but not limited to required PPE to training as required and assigned.
+ Conduct basic regular maintenance checks on equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning (routine inspections to include, for example, oil level checks)
