Materials Engineer – 6 month reviewable Contract
ASL Technical is seeking a Materials Engineer for an exciting contract opportunity within a high-performance engineering environment.
Working alongside experienced engineers, you will support material testing, failure analysis and investigations, helping to ensure product quality, reliability and performance. This role offers excellent exposure to advanced materials and engineering development programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Support material investigations and root cause analysis of component failures.
Conduct material testing including tensile, impact, fatigue, corrosion and thermal evaluations.
Assist with sample preparation and microstructural analysis.
Provide material data and technical findings to engineering and design teams.
Liaise with suppliers to obtain material information and confirm specification compliance.
