Job Description
- Ensure that all construction materials used in the project conform to approved specifications, drawings, and applicable codes.
- Review and approve material submittals, technical datasheets, and certificates of compliance from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Supervise material sampling, concrete, steel, and other construction materials.
- Conduct inspections of delivered materials to verify compliance with quality requirements prior to acceptance and use in the project.
- Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and accredited laboratories to ensure proper certification and traceability of materials.
- Prepare and maintain materials test reports, certifications, and quality control records for submission to the Project Management Team and client representatives.
- Work closely with project engineers, QA/QC, and site supervisors to ensure timely approval and availability of materials.
