Job Description
We are seeking a Materials Technician to support Evolito’s Materials Engineering team. In this role, you will prepare and test parts and samples to investigate the behaviour of materials and components, and manage day‑to‑day operations of the materials laboratory.
Key responsibilities
- Perform mechanical, chemical, and physical tests on raw materials and finished products
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (e.g., tensile tester, grinder/polisher, microscopes)
- Record and interpret test data, ensuring accuracy and traceability
- Prepare detailed test reports and maintain laboratory records
- Manage the efficient operation of associated workshop, lab and storage areas
- Construct and safely use simple test fixtures when required for investigation of the behaviour of materials and components
