Overview
We are seeking Maternity Support Workers to join the inpatient MSW team. The role supports midwives across the maternity ward and delivery suite, ensuring patients receive optimum women‑centred care.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support to midwives during antenatal, intra‑delivery and postnatal periods.
- Record patient details and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Assist women and families, ensuring high‑standard evidence‑based care.
- Work in rotation across Ward 53 (antenatal and postnatal) and other maternity areas.
- Cover shift patterns including weekdays, weekends and night duties.
Qualifications
- Experienced, enthusiastic and caring with strong clinical skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and without direct supervision.
