Summary Meatcutter Supervisor Functions of this department are described in appropriate mission statement. The purpose of this position is to serve as supervisor of the Meat Department. Works under the general supervision of the Deputy Commissary Officer or Commissary Officer who provides general direction, standard procedures, overall priorities and policies, and accomplish an adequate quantity and quality of work. Supervises and provides direction to subordinate employees within the department. Ensures workload requirements are met to include establishing prices for all meat products sold. Inspects equipment and checks temperature level regularly. Conducts frequent inspections of work areas to ensure regulatory compliance with sanitary and safety policies.
